The drawing group provides untutored life drawing classes for people who live in South Bucks, Oxon, and Berks. Stokenchurch is on the boundary of Buckinghamshire and Oxfordshire. Berkshire is only about eight miles distant. High Wycombe, Thame, Henley on Thames, Watlington, Maidenhead are all close by.
We now meet on Wednesday afternoons for the first, second and third Wednesdays of the month and also on the last Saturday afternoon of the month near the centre of Stokenchurch. The drawing class runs from 1:30 until 4:30pm, with a break about half way through. You must book online at least one week in advance. Drawing sessions will be cancelled if less than three people book a week in advance.
About UsDrawing by Jez
We are a very small, not for profit life drawing class. Unlike many figure drawing or life drawing classes, we continue to meet when there is demand during the school holidays and the long summer vacation.
Space is limited to five bookable places at all of our drawing sessions. The fee for each 3 hour drawing session is £15.
The class is run as a workshop, and is untutored: members work on their own ideas, some of which can be seen in our members gallery. Regular members can exhibit online.
if you are interested in joining the group, please apply for details by contacting email@example.com. We welcome new members of all ages, especially those who can attend frequently.
We now have an online booking system. To reserve a place you go to the booking page and choose the dates you wish to attend. You must book at least one week in advance. (The cut off time is the previous Wednesday. When less than three people book the class for that particular week will be cancelled.
The venue is close to Exit 5 on the M40 and well served by buses from Thame, High Wycombe, and the surrounding villages.
